Orelle and its surrounding area offers holiday makers a great choice of outdoor activities. First and foremost Orelle offers skiers and snowboarders access to the largest pisted ski area in the world during the winter months. Once you have taken the gondola ski lift in Orelle you will be transported within 15 minutes to a height of 2350m and the fun starts! Ski Orelle up to 3230m or head over to Val Thorens and the rest of the 3 valleys network via the new 6 man Rosael chair lift. To warm up on your ski holiday try the long blue run called the Peyron or go to the top of the Buchet for a more challenging red run!

In the village of Orelle, by the ski lift '3 valleys Express' you will find: the ski hire shop, the lift pass shop, the ski school, the off piste ski school, the bar/café, the Tourist Office and the Post Office. There is also plenty of free parking right next to the lift.
For 'thrill seekers' forget bungie jumping take the Orelle to Val Thorens Tyrolienne - cross from 3230m in Orelle to 3000m in Val Thorens on a zip wire with your skis strapped to the back of your seat at speeds of up to 105 Km/h!!
